    avaya merlin magix 4400 setup

From what I remember it was quite a process to swap extensions or do anything else. It was always a long code process. Not as friendly as the GUI's today. Merln Magix systems are job security for guys like you.

    avaya merlin magix 4400 setup

I ripped my Merlin Magix phone system off the wall and threw it away. Go get yourself Avaya IP Office. It's much easlier to administer. You'll thank me later.

[SOLVED] Voicemail to Email by SMTP not working for unknown reasons

I had an incident like this. My Avaya voicemail was not sending out copies of voicemails. We had switched my Rackspace to Intermedia and was using an Exchange email account as authentication and it wasn't working. I changed to using an IMAP mailbox with a different configuration and it worked.

    Computer freezing up

Hey, we have a new Tek-tips site., Wow! To the OP, after your laptop boots you should open up the task manager and disable any programs from the startup tab that you don't want starting every time you boot your laptop. Also, view the processes that are hanging up your CPU. You have a program...

SMTP Setting work on Ricoh Copiers but not Kinolta Minolta Copiers.

So after the Rackspace debacle I had to change email providers to Intermedia and subsequently change all the smtp settings on my copiers. All of my Ricoh copiers work fine with the new SMTP settings, but the Kinolta Minoltas do not and I have to keep an email address live on the Rackspace...

    SMTP Logs Avaya Voicemail Pro

Anyone know where the logs are when the voicemail pro sends emails of the voicemails via smtp. I can see where it's up, but when I change my server settings and user name and password I don't get the voicemails through email. I can telnet into the mailserver so I don't know why the voicemails...

    Vanity Number forward to Huntgroup

Hello, I purchased a vanity number for my company and I want to have it remote call forward to the Customer Service hunt group number. I think with RCF only one caller can call at a time. When someone calls a huntgroup directly does the call get placed into a rotary so the queue can take...

    Part Time Remote Work Twinning

Hello, I need some help. Normally when someone works remotely I set them up with twinning and add them to the huntgroup and they stay logged in all day. However, we have someone that will be working part time and I can see that I can set up a time profile for twinning, but how can I place them...

    Remote Worker Solution

Would it be better to forward hunt group calls or twin them. A couple of departments are starting to work from home. I'm thinking a twinning solution may be better than forwarding because if I forward calls and the employee is already on a call then the caller will experience a busy signal or go...

    Twinning Phantom Extensions

Thanks, not sure why I didn't check that box.

    Twinning Phantom Extensions

Can you do this with just the software? The forwarding words on the phantom extension like it should, but I think twinning is not working because there's no physical line tied to a phone port.

Who should have the server passwords

Does an Operations Manager even outrank a System Administrator? I looked on Glassdoor and the salary for an Operations Manager is lower than a System Administrator.

Who should have the server passwords

I'm the IT Administrator and one of our servers is a Linux server that runs the software the my company runs on. This server is a managed server by the company that supports the software. I had to sign an agreement that stated they aren't liable if someone from my company goes into the server...

    Removing Physical Phones Twinning

I have set up phantom phones lines many times and these lines are not tied to any port on the phones system. I can set them up as forward or twin. The twin allows them to see the actual caller ID and the forward only lets them see the office main nummber. If I push the no answer out on the twin...
