I am not familiar with Procomm but I thought HyperTerminal is only for connecting a PC to another device using the modem line. I simply wish to replace my phone device at home with my PC using the RJ11 connector. I am not sure why I get the feeling this is not possible. I am not an expert but...- raminee

Is there any software that can turn my Laptop into a PSTN line phone ? And I do not mean VoIP. My lapop has an RJ11 connector. So assuming this is connected to the PSTN (i.e. the normal telephony line at home) then is there any software that I can install on my laptop to make it a telephony...- raminee
