Hi. We have SuSE 11 SLES running NAMED service (and DHCPD also) on a machine with 11.22.78.7 ip, and hostname "network.visc.es"
We have just one zone called "visc.es" : 11.22.78.XX, so file
"named.conf" has :
zone "78.22.11.in-addr.arpa" in {
file "master/78.22.11.in-addr.arpaXXXX"...
mr Noway2 : the process id shown by netstat -pane is the one of the service, this is, the Apache application.
Anyway this command is quite interesting :
[root@labss1 cmds]# netstat -aenp | grep 1352

I run the command "netstat -an | grep 5678" and I get a listing of remote IP's that are connected to this service.
