I discovered my problem, and it was a brain-dead one. I got the browser to see the plug-ins that are needed just a few minutes ago. Thanks to everyone for their input ! I wasted 3 days on this but it's worth it.
I started a job at a College, with a NEC SV9500 with a UM4730 V11.9.2.23 Linux tower as the voicemail. On the machine itself, I run the Web admin console, it uses Firefox V31.1.0 ESR, and its Java plug-in is
V11.151.2. The onboard WAC is able to download .wav files from the UM4730, and view the...
As a general comment, I appreciate this forum and specifically this thread, because my colleague and I are running SV9500's and an SV9300, and maybe looking for a solution for a new property.
So despite NEC's handling we have some time to figure it out. All of the posts here have been helpful...
I am new to the Univerge SV9500. I want to set all the display phones to show their extension number on the first line of the idle display telephone.
Since I don't know the exact feature name, my searches through the programming manual have been fruitless.
Would someone point me in the right...
I have a NEC SV8100 with UM8000 voicemail.
I have checked the reports and there is no excessive storage of messages by users. I go down to the command prompt with SSH and run df -h and get this response :
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/hda1 7.1G 889M...

( Side note - The customer also uses Cygnilink between cabinets.)
The doorphones dial an internal extension OK, using...
I have a Hotel who wants their night menu (a Transaction box) to transfer directly into mailbox for the one-key dialing choices, instead of ringing phones first. Have been toying with it for two hours and have had no luck. Windows will not let me run the greeting dialogs, so I can't do greeting...
This is an assisted-living facility, where the SV8300 delivers Caller ID to Station, and the users have regular residential single-line devices for their apartments.
Almost all devices work well now that the ringer candence was changed to 2 secs. on, 4 secs. off.
However, one brand of cordless...
A customer has an Option 11 with call Pilot installed in Cab 3. It is the old CP, running WinNT4. The customer cannot access this, and I've tried all the passwords / login combos from the NTPs and also from the customers' own documentation.
Is there a way to discover the login information ?
