1) What OS does the old system have?
2) What OS are you planning on moving towards?
3) Do you have each application's installation disc?
4) How much experience do you have installing Windows from scratch...
Is the a program or way that I can
1. Determine what drives (ie, disk, nic etc) are used by system?
2. Grab these drives from workstation to use on bare metal clone?

Why would you want to clone a drive from an old system board, to a newer system with different chipsets?
Proprietary system (10 years old, vendor gone). Want to move to newer hardware.
Have just inherited a server with Smart Array 641 controller and 2 HP 64bit dual channel wide Ultra Scsi adapters.
Currently has 3 72.6G drives and 3 36 drives. Which produces 1 C drive at 67.8 and one G drive at 135G.
Want to add disk space. Can I just add bigger SCSI and insert one at a time...
