    Our ODBC link locks up regularly - WHY ?

    Using Crystal with Informix Dynamic Server on Siemens Unix system. Live database odbc link locks up quite frequently. Have to reboot the box to clear the lock. Application is unafected on the unix host. Links via Microsoft applications cannot be achieved either while lock is present.
