Try starting Outlook with the /clearviews switch.

For the past week, staff have commented that occasionly, external and internal e-mail they send sits in their Outlook 2000 Outbox for a minute or so before being sent. Also there is a delay in external and internal incoming mail being sent to individual mailboxes.
