So what options do I have at the moment?... even if i can just the data to come out a a batch file after I scan a lot i'd be happy as the terminals are still in command mode. i'd be happy at this point as I'm not even sure what I can do at this point for my stocktake. UPDATE: The serial port settings were wrong and the parameters were incorrect as per the manual. I've now successfully flashed and installed the lwp11.hex file into the terminals... Now what do I do collect data onto the terminals and transfer it onto the PC? Do I have no choice but to use a...- jinxnz

Dear All, I'm ina similar situation to thevillageinn as I have also received a PDT6800 devices with the 4 station serial commucatior dock. My problem is I can't get the XP OS to recognise the hardware. I have talked to SYMBOL and they said that since the warranty on these parts have expired...- jinxnz
