    Squid proxy for Internet access control

    I have a Windows domain with mixed clients (XP/7). I want to use on older box to install Squid. Do I need two NIC's on the Squid box and DMZ one NIC? What about Squid on Linux vs Windows? Some learning curves for me on this one.
