Thanks all... So if I did a Network+ and also ACIS (ACA) then I could do the ACSS afterwards? Will the ACSS (ACS) be good enough cert to gain employment?
Well Im based in Berkshire at the moment and work for telephony company (avaya dealer). Do you think that ACIS on its own won't really get me anywhere?? Would I get a job with it but not much experience...?
It would appear that I would need to do this course, CompTIA CTP first??? But in order to do that course i need to do this CompTIA Network+.

Have a look at the red text at the foot of this link:

Thoughts...
Cheers for that.... Interesting to know. Do you see having the ACIS cert enough to gain employment? I would look to better my quals but want a starting point.
Also, how common are Avaya engineer jobs? in other words is employment not too difficult.
I work for an Avaya partner (telecom company) & Im thinking about approaching them to start an Avaya Certified Associate course... I have a basic undertstanding of VoiP and other telecom aspects already. How hard is an ACA qual??? I want to start a course which will get my employment OR lead...
Im hoping that my current employer (who already has a few CCNA's) will work with me towards this qualification. Im competent with PC's etc and also have a good basic understanding of VoiP / networking... How long does it roughly take to pass? Are there any pre-requisits to starting???
