I downloaded the tools. When I run csccmd, the only switches available are:
/ENABLE
/DISABLE
/RESID
/DISCONNECT:<\\server\share>
/MOVESHARE:<\\server\share> <\\server\share>
I have tried logged in both as local admin and domain admin.
I set my laptop to use offline folders. The folder I synced to was moved to a new server. Everything works ok from the new server, but I get annoying popups saying the old one is offline. It isn't, it just doesn't have my folder anymore. How can I stop this?
This method mimics what you would do in old fashioned batch processing. In the group header, create an additional section for each category which can appear (or not). If there are three categories, this would give you this arrangement in the report design:
Group header #1a:
Group header #1b...
re linking stored procedures and tables: I think the answer is sometimes - do what they do in China (try it and see!). Set up ODBC names and have a go. I know that Crystal will sometimes take mixed sources and sometimes not, depending.
That's what I'm doing at the moment - but I want to present the user with the choices 2003 and 2002, or whatever the current and previous year happen to be when the report is run.
If you have access to the underlying database there may be a simple work around. You need the field on which you are grouping to be indexed, and you need to have or be able to create a table of all distinct valid categories for that field. Suppose you have two tables in the original report...
I want to create a report which allows the user to select either the current year or previous year, so the default parameters are year(currentdate) and year(currentdate)-1. But I can't do this - or can I?
