    /etc/TIMEZONE edit, must I reboot?

I have edited the /etc/TIMEZONE file and I am looking for a way to find and re-run the process that reads this file at boot time. Any suggestions or Ideas out there? I would like to avoid bringing a production machine down just for this simple change. Thanks in advance Chris
