I think the final problem is that we are unable to run an end of day for the day we deleted the buttons. I have one small sale out there as "Today" even though it it is really from 7/28. I have tried "Force End of Day" but it gives an error that says cannot run end of day - any suggestions?

There is no STOP in the TMP file. The only one I can find reads STOPFOH.BAT in the Aloha/QS/BIN file. It has a date of 2005 (system start). We pasted the item log from the last good day into the new data file and overwrote the existing. That replaced all of the old buttons we deleted but FOH...
We deleted EXITING file in TMP folder on terminal and everything in the TMP file on the server but it is still shutting down. We can see a new EXITING file pop up on terminal with each reboot.
