Thanks Riverguy. As our procurement/licensing process is a nightmare, i just wanted to check in advance as i am not in a position to start creating any reports yet. I didn't want to get to that stage and then waste time waiting for VS 2008.- ChrisWilliamson

Hi, I am about to create some reports using SQL Server BI Development Studio 2008 on a 2008 SQL Server database - the remote report server will be using its own web server (not IIS that comes with the O/S).
