    thanks all for your help. Going to run them over the pairs of cat5. Does anyone know (I'm not at site to check) if the 5410 needs 2 or 4 wires? The cable that comes with them has 4 wires but read elsewhere only 2 are needed?

    IPGuru - think that will work. Does the single pair also provide power to the handset? If not can look at power injector or something.
