Hi , im trying to remove the daylight saving feature on my mac os X machine , I wish it to NOT correct the time when moving in/out of daylight saving ?
and just set it to BST only..
does anybody know how to do this ?

Yeah... iv'e checked the setting to turn the file locks on.... but we still have the problem..
2 machines can access the same file at the same time..
i need to stop this for files in a certain directory ?

Thanks.. but that Microsoft article deals with running FPNW on the NT4 server .
We are trying to move away from having netware anything , but the clients need to lock the files they use..

i've got a small problem..
Trying to move an application from my Netware 3.2 server ( stop laughing) to my NT 4 server ( i said stop laughing !! ) ..
But when the program was running from Netware it created file locks when users were accessing txt files , NT 4 does not , so 2 people...
My comms support company wants to sell me another 4 meg pcmcia card for backing up the system state...
fine.. i would rather have two and alternate them...
but they want £560 !!! ( $930 ) for 1 card...
im guessing it's a type 1 pcmcia card ? but is there anything special about it ...
Client = windows 98 se (ms dun 1.4 update)
Server = Windows NT4srv sp5 member server (windows share volumes)
My client connects to the server via our WAN using tcpip ,no problem...
but if you don't use the drive letter(mapping) for over 30 minutes it goes into a disconnect mode and will not...
