Vpn stopped working

Need help on how to move mailboxes on new server
I need to restore mailboxes onto a new exchange server , but 1 have 1 problem I have to setup the server on the current hardware but with a new Server name and cant risk on loosing any data Any Tips Thanks for any helpp- mko001
