Allowing ports (ACL) on a Cisco 3750 with IP Services image

The device I'm looking at now is on vlan 68. It needs to be accessed from other multiple vlans (like mine - 64). The vlans all have addresses. What would the helper address do, and would it be the address of the vlan I want to see the device from?

Allowing ports (ACL) on a Cisco 3750 with IP Services image

Actually, I'm seeing this: "UPnP uses HTTP over UDP (known as HTTPU and HTTPMU for unicast and multicast)

Allowing ports (ACL) on a Cisco 3750 with IP Services image

I'd say it's broadcasting when there's a call at that gate. It uses UPnP.

Allowing ports (ACL) on a Cisco 3750 with IP Services image

I didn't think they would either, but it appears that anytime the data from this device has to go through the core switch to be routed, those ports get blocked. I'v attached the "show run" from the core switch. Current configuration : 65207 bytes ! version 12.2 no service pad service...

Allowing ports (ACL) on a Cisco 3750 with IP Services image

I'm having an issue with a gate control device that uses specific ports for audio and video over the network to PCs with gate control software. We have a Cisco 3750 that functions as our core switch, and handles routing between quite a few VLANs. That switch is running the 12.2 IPServices...

Setting default username has shut me out

IPK King, yes because reloading that router is a major ordeal. If there was a possibility of fixing the issue without doing a reload, I needed to pursue that possibility.

Setting default username has shut me out

Tried that one too. No luck. I'm glad I didn't write that change!

Setting default username has shut me out

Cluebird, I have tried those logons, and a few more, so I think you're right............I'm just going to have to reload. Thanks for the help and suggestions! Chuck

Setting default username has shut me out

Cluebird, Thanks for the response, but it will not let me log on to do any of that now. It just keeps telling me "% Login invalid" when I try the logon that I've been using since it was set up. Chuck

Setting default username has shut me out

Hello all! I was trying to figure out how to have my router (Cisco 2801 ver 12.1) only prompt for a password to enter into enable more right from the start. My other routers do this. I telnet in, and all I get is "password:". So, I tried setting the default username using "default username...
