    Thank for the reply. So with Pervasive Client, on that machine, should there be a process that is always running, or will it just be visible when a request is sent to the server?

    Should this process run all the time? I have a Standalone install of Perv 10.30 and the process with engine icon appears and runs at all times. On a Client/Server setup the process is not running. Should it be running at all times and can it be started automatically in a reliable way?
