    Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, I didn't help a lot. I enabled port fast everywhere, so this should be ruled out as the cause. The switches are Cisco Catalyst 3548-XLs Any other ideas??? I checked the log and found nothing out of the ordinary except for those error previously mentioned.
