yep I think it will work seems like the exact same system. We do not run credit card through the unit. If we did upgrade to be PCI compatible would we need new workstations or is it just a software upgrade? Do you think I will need to bring the new unit into our local micros dealer before...- richmassey

Hi Pmegan, Thanks for your reply, I think I am ok, as our touch screens run windows 95. The server runs windows 2000. Same with the new unit we are purchasing. I am a little confused if this is res 3700 or res 3000 or if there is a difference. Sorry for the ignorance.... rich- richmassey

Hello, i am glad I found this forum! I manage a restaurant and we have two micros touchscreen POS terminals and of course the server in the office.
