    Hello, Old game from a charity shop for the grandchildren - Lego Chess - managed to get it installed on Win10 after some huffing and puffing. Now the game requires the CD to be in the drive while playing, which it is, but it does not recognise that the CD is present in the drive! Not a biggie...

    Thanks for that! Actually, if I'd known that it was possible to convert a SATA to PATA I would not have needed to buy a new PSU at all. I had a spare out of and old PC but noted the differences in the connectors. We live and learn, I guess. :-)

    Thanks to all esp edfair. That looked like what I was needing but sadly it didn't work. I tried other browsers but none would install. It was simply a mystery why some web sites worked and others didn't. I have handed the PC back telling him the bad news. Thank you again.
