Now you're starting to lose me ....... what is a PING command? It's connected via wireless, so will try wire and let you know what happens. Not sure how to do a dial up connection ........ or even if the system has a dial up modem. Thanks so much for helping me. I really appreciate it.- peaofsweetness

My Sony Vaio won't connect to the internet
It was absolutely fine, but for no apparent reason there is no connection. I'm hoping somebody might be able to help. I tried to set up a new connection and a window says Wizard Error Message Component GUID: 7071ECA3-663B-4BC1-A1FA-B97F3B917C55 Component file...- peaofsweetness
