Migrating RAID 5 from ICH7R to ICH10R
Hello to all! I really appreciate all of your input. I have ordered a new motherboard (GA-EP45-UD3R)and a 1 TB hard drive. My current plan is to use the 1 TB as my system drive uhtil I have copied all of my data off the original RAID Array. Then I plan to re-create the drives using ICH10R...- DCWillia

Migrating RAID 5 from ICH7R to ICH10R
My motherboard died with my RAID 5 array on the ICH7R from the 975x chipset on my ASUS P5W Dh Deluxe motherboard. Has anyone done this? Intel says not to attempt to boot from this array, but I was wondering if anyone has been successful in doing it. I am a A+ certified PC Tech and have no fear...- DCWillia
