We need to trace our cables from the receptacle in the wall through the patch panel to the switch port without disrupting network service. We have 4 switches, and all of them are non-managed switches. I call them glorified hubs. How can we get this done?

In Windows Server 2003 I have created a global distribution group with members. The group does not have a mailbox, but each member does. We want the group to show up on the address list, but it doesn’t. When a message goes to the distribution group we want that message to go to each member.
