    yeah basically, the exchanges worked, then they had to be moved, and now they all work except the isdn exchange. So in effect they were rebooted as they all lost their power. I have tried rebooting a few times but the 406 does not pick up the isdn exchange

    i have an avaya ip406 with two expansion shelves giving me sixty odd phones. I also have another shelf with isdn lines on it but this seems not to work. On the bottom unit it shows that the expansion shelves for the phones are connected but not the one for the isdn shelf (plus on the isdn ports...

    RJ45 - X21

    Hi guys, thanks for your help, i wasnt really clear in my first message, I have sorted the problem now. Went from the pri port on the avaya (E1), converted to x21 using interface convertors and then into my radio wih the reverse on the way back out. Thanks v much for everyones help

    I am trying to expand an Avaya exchange and the expansion port is presented as a RJ45. It has to be expanded over a radio shot which comes up as an X21 serial connection. I am looking for a cable solution to connect the pair, without using media convertors. help please!
