remote desktop connection with two onboard nics.
What actually fixed it was bridging both nics so it would show up as one nic. Thanks for all the help.- pcfixit55

No only one has a static setting the other nic is not used at all. Nothing is plugged into it. I do have the option of bridging those nics. I might try that next and see if it makes a difference. Thanks- pcfixit55

I could not get it to connect with remote desktop connection by IP or computer name until I disabled one of the onboard nics, even if the other onboard nic is not being used.
