HP All in One Fails on Startup
kjv1161, Thanks for the reply. It seems the underside of the glass (yes, it's a very old printer, but if it works . . .) was smudged with some kind of precipitate, it looked like. Once it was cleaned according to some instructions I got on the HP site, it has not repeated that behavior...- WestofLeft

HP All in One Fails on Startup
When our psc2210v starts, it begins the startup routine then settles into a sound similar to grinding small gears, which repeats about once a second until I turn it off. If I open the top, nothing is visibly happening there. Seems to come from the area below the display window. Does anybody...- WestofLeft
