Since there is no interconnection between the ISDN ports on my routers, is there another card that I could put into that slot, something like a 4 ethernet port card to allow me more options in setting up the topology?
I am not really studying ISDN, I just want to be able to utilize these ports to have more options when laying out the topology of my routers. Is there some sort of ISDN crossover cable? And yes 3 of my routers have T1 CSU/DSU cards, I am using 2 of those ports.
I have 5 Cisco 2611 routers in my home lab. Each one has an ISDN BRI U port and I am not sure what cable to use between them, and what configurations I will need to allow connectivity.
Yes, telnet between routers so I dont have to move the console cable. What I have done is setup a Loopback interface, and set ip host name ip address on each router, I can now telnet between my routers. Thank you for the advice.
I have recently purchased 5 Cisco 2611 routers, I am not sure how to set it up so I can telnet to the router name, instead of having to type out the interface IP?
