    Thanks for the great suggestions. Don't know why my phone guys didn't suggest it as an alternative. How do you program the feature button? Do you just type in a capital "F"?

    Thanks for the info but I should have added that this is for our receptionist when she does her walk abouts. I have tried chaining her to her desk but got reported to the authorities ;) I am looking for a phone with a few programmable buttons like call park, page, transfer, etc.

    We have a Norstar Meridian system. The system version reads SP:30MUM05 DR5 RTP I am looking for a wireless phone. My phone company tells me the 7406e is not compatible with my current software. They also say the 7406 is not as good and there are not any batteries available for it anymore...
