Thanks pndscm. I think our Chassis' meet the hardware specs. I'm having my engineers look into this, although our vendor has never indicated any concern with being able to go from 5.x to 6.x or 7.x on our existing hardware.

Until recently, all of our VoIP projects that included Cisco Gateway Hardware (i.e. Cisco 2811, 3825, 3845) we new purchases with the IOS that included the SP or Voice Feature Set, as well as SRST.

We're using Berbee to do this...although one of my engineers and our developers seem to think they can replicate this functionality through XML ... we're looking into this.
If you're looking for something inexpensive, that in my experience works quite well, go with Asterisk. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles of say the Cisco MeetingPlace Express product, but it works well and supports SIP.
