Form does not open when new field is added

Hi Tracy, when you say automatically, what do you mean? It has been selected on startup, it's programmed on a Macro? There is any VBA code running behind the form?

Hosting an Access '97 Application. Good practices.

Thanks for your answer, Joe, im pretty much on the scenario described by you on a post, where a power user starts a solution, and that solution keeps on growing... I got the idea, but with some doubts. 'Everyone should have their own copy of the front-end' It's a good solution having one...

Search button stopped working, BAD OMEN?

Well, first of all, i apologise for the delay of my post, we had a lot of trouble at office with internet -among other things- We have found the problem: we had an event after the textbox lost the focus, implementing an algorithm used to determine check digit...

Hosting an Access '97 Application. Good practices.

Hi everybody. We have an Access '97 database on a server. It is used to print and save orders, so we have one form to register them -sorry for my poor english-, another form used to register payments and another one designed for displaying reports. My question is: how bad it could be? All...

Search button stopped working, BAD OMEN?

Sure MajP, thanks for your post. HC is a textbox on the form, BuscaHc is the search button. This is the code: Private Sub BuscaHC_Click() On Error GoTo Err_BuscaHC_Click Me.HC.SetFocus DoCmd.DoMenuItem acFormBar, acEditMenu, 10, , acMenuVer70 Exit_BuscaHC_Click: Exit Sub...

Search button stopped working, BAD OMEN?

Hi folks, we have a problem here, maybe you can help us. We have a main table, with a lot of columns. Two are of special relevance. One is the Id,primary key, which is an auto incremental integer. The other is client number, not a key, but many times is the only info that we got to retrieve...

Stupid DboCmd.OpenReport question from stupid programmer

I just solved it, or at least, it works for me now. My report uses a query as source. So i finished it with the statement: WHERE (((Base.Id)=[forms]![MyForm]![Id])); No more prompting for Id's. Hope it works for you too, jack.
