I have successfully tested dialing 2701 from a local ext and it dials my cell phone (a remote #)
How do I follow your instructions to get a Mail transfer to work properly?
My mail ports are: 7119, 7121, 7123

Why is it that when I dial this extention from inside the bank, it correctly executes the remote transfer... but, if I hit *T (*8) from Merlin Mail, it does not execute the transfer?
Any ideas?
I am certian you can do what you are asking with an Asterisk phone server. I have done it twice.... and we are currently running on this configuration. $5 MLX phones beat $100/$500 ip phones any day... at least for the non-power users.

I am managing a Magix system miles away.
I want to program Remote Forward on a number of extensions.
Let's say, extension 1339 (with an access code of 1339).
Now, I know that I can get to 1339 via Feature 80 from another phone set located on site. ...from the other phone set, the key sequence...
OK.... based on the lack of response, I presume nobody had any ideas... except for the obvious "trash it" concept.
In any event, I fixed it, but the explanation is way to long.
In the future, if anyone has this same problem, drop me a line and I will let you know what I did.
