Not sure exactly what you're up to, but have you considered creating an array of control references, and looping through it.
You might find the isnull() function of interest as well.
Faced this one myself...
Nick the WinExec function from the windows API... This can be done with the statement
DECLARE LONG WinExec IN WIN32API STRING, LONG
Once that line has been executed, you can spawn another exe by calling the WinExec function, for example:
Winexec...
