Windows XP Deassigns Drive Letter
Have Maxtor 1TB storage device connected through fire wire. It is assigned drive letter "k" From time to time, xp windows loses the drive. I unplug the Maxtor device fire wire and plug back in. Lotus 1-2-3 000C:09bc
This error occurs in 1-2-3 version 5 (xp user) when file is corrupt. Normally, had to reboot to get back to using 1-2-3. But, determined that if you go into task manager and terminate process wowexec.exe problem will be resolved without rebooting.- andytheactuary
