thx for the reply vicvirk! I tried to encapsulate it but don't think I can edit it at this point. Sorry. re. your reply, my understanding is that the URL needs to be passed from the html to the JS and then the "goto URL" executed from the JS itself. (i.e. i'm not looking to add a button...)...- simplesimon10

Hi, Brand new to JS and this forum... I've been struggling with this code for a few days now and almost ready to give up.
