Is there an easy way to remove an entire ARS table and replace it with a new one?
In addition to the core site, I have a eight remote locations. Each remote location has an ARS table. There is a very large ALL table, but oddly no loc 1 table.
I'll spare the details, but suffice to say...
Thanks all.
Great tip Kevin - and I'm embarrassed I didn't think of that on my own.
Turns out they are trunks as you suspected Mitch. I was expecting analog station ports since this old Nortel guy just isn't conditioned to expect analog stations and/or POTS provisioned on the same card it...
I've read a number of posts regarding removal of media gateways. All seem consistent in that translations and hardware must be removed before the media gateway can be removed.
That stated, I have a G250 that has already been physically removed from site. It appears that someone removed the...
Probably VERY good advice 98Converter and I have no plans to delete anything in the all table just yet. I expect your conclusions are right on target regarding how we got here. Like many deployments we started out as a large single site TDM PBX and VoIP prompted branching out to remote...
I'm a bit new in the Avaya game - but how do you avoid using loc 1? Isn't it the default site? Our S8710 servers and MCC1, and main G650 cvabinets reside there

I'm unwinding ARS for a multi-site system.
Under ARS Analysis I have many location specific tables in addition to the "all" table. My loc specific tables have few translations.
Couple questions:
1) Is accurate to assume that the PBX will first search the applicable loc in ARS first and if...
I have an Emergency phone (several actually) on an analog station port (2500 set, think elevator type phone). The phone has no dialpad, only two speed dial buttons. One for EMER, one for INFO.
I want the EMER calls to go to Security (x4051), and the INFO calls to go to Guest Services (x4000)...
