upgrading from sql6.5 to sql7
Hello I want to upgrade sql6.5 to sql7. i'll use adifferent machine for the sql7 and i'm going to copy and convert the databases from sql6.5 with the sql7 upgrade wizard. I want to maintain the SQL SERVER NAME AND IP ADDRESS to be same as the original server. How can I do that? is it possible...- chicko

netware 4.11-lost admin password
Hello. I got anetware server to handle and I don't have the ADMIN PASSWORD. I remember that there is aNLM to load on the server and handle it. I tried aGNU PROGRAM called "SETPWD" (loadable nlm file) but for some reason it returns an error code (very long number)and it doesn't work...- chicko

netware client ver:3.1 for win95
when i install client32 for win95 version 3.1.00 with service pack2 it adds aline to the autoexec.bat:<br> "path c:\novell\client32\%path%"<br> this line made error messages appear so I removed it,but then when I browse the network by double-clicking "network-neighborhood"...- chicko

backing up nds files
i've heard it's possible to backup all nd's objects by backing up some files in the system\etc folder.<br> is it really possible? how?- chicko
