They are 1408. The phones only ring if directly rung from the other site and voice is ok. The fault is when the hunt group at the main site has calls the 2nd site does not get any calls. Routers have a site to site vpn configured and firewall is disabled for this vpn.

I retraced my steps. I had created 2 profiles both called Avaya. When I looked at the BLF entry on the 3275 I realized I had selected the wrong profile.
Once I did that it started to work

On the leave mail and collect mail I have to remove the link save it relink and save again. Otherwise when retrieving mail you have to enter the mailbox number and password.
