Finder freezes when opening an afp share from linus server
Ok I found out the problem. The shares contain .AppleDB and .AppleDesktop directories. Simply delete them, and the problem disappears. solution was found here: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=12885&start=0&st=0&sk=t&sd=a- SteveTempest

Finder freezes when opening an afp share from linus server
Hi - forgive me, I'm not a mac user but a linux sytem admin thats taken over the support for a system. The linux server is running atalkd, and was working perfectly until last wednesday evening.
