    DIAL 16 10 TTR 72 Should I replace the conf/tds card in slot 16? I replaced and moved DTR 28-1-15 with no luck.

    Perry...I have 8 DTR cards in the switch and I used an analog test set on different TN's to grab dial tone from each of the DTR cards. The problem only occured when seizing tone from DTR 28-1-15 on all ports. Sometimes the same port would work and then the next time it gave the ringing type...

    John, here is a trac of the dial tone that switches to a ringing sound in about 1 second. I narrowed it down to one DTR card (28-1-15). I swapped the card out with a good one and the problem stayed with the card SLOT (28-1-15) and not the card. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help. .trac 0...

    It doesn't happen on a call, just the dialtone from the switch when the phone goes off hook.

    Correction: The dialtone is NOT intermittent, the strange DT sound is.

    Opt 81c rls 4.5 Intermittent dialtone on 3904's and analog sets sounds like a fax on multiple phones in different network groups. Switch has been INI. The phones work just fine dialing in and out. Was plannibg on doing a reload. The switch consist of 3800 analog and 470 3904's. Thanks
