Netware 5.1 server hangs when being backed up.
If you use the open file option try changing the backup policy so the open file option is not used. I have done this and the backup now runs without abending or hanging the server. Next step is to play with the open file option settings and see if it can be made to work with the open file option.- 007007007

Netware 5.1 server hangs when being backed up.
I have backupexec version 9 running on a netware 4.11 server and 2 netware 5.1 remote agents. One of these remote agents backs up perfectly, the other 'hangs' after about a gig of the 80 gig volume has been backed up. The server then needs to be restarted.
