Hi,
Networker Server (NetWorker Management Console version 3.5.2.Build.477 based on NetWorker version 7.5.2.Build.477) is fibre attached through a SAN switch to an Clariion CX3-40f and a Quantum Scalar i2000 tape library. All backups are directed through the Networker Server (storage nodes...

If we were to fall back to the previous version of the Networker Module (5.1) as the backup I am trying to recover was backed up using v5.1.1 will the older module recover the data correctly?
Also, is there a command that can check to see if the backup on the Networker server contains the log...
We have recently upgraded our primary backup servers from Networker version 7.2.2 to version 7.4.3 – we are having a number of problems with the new version:
1] Groups frequently stall at ~98% – 99% complete and need to be stopped and rerun to complete. This is an issue since we cannot...

The W:\ drive is a 10GB mount point with a 500GB LUN mounted to W:\RS1 for restoring a database and a 136GB LUN mounted to W:\RS1\Logs. The database we are trying to recover is 240-ish GB plus a maximum of 136GB of log files (as the Log LUN is that size) so we have plenty of spare space.
I have tried to manually label volumes set to manual recycle- the tape is loaded Networker labels it, then unmounts it again. But when I set the re-labelled tape to appendable, it's still showing the 100% full data on there that I want to get rid off instead of 0%.
Also AMM is enabled by...

Hi,
We are using Windows 2003 x64 SP2, our Exchange infrastructure is 2007 SP1 with Rollup 3.
We upgraded the Networker module to version 5.1.1 on the 31st October so the “The feature "NetWorker Module for Microsoft Exchange Server/11" is not properly enabled for client...
Actually Auto Media Management is enabled. Even if it is disabled, the problem still occurs.
So you're saying that if the media is full, the only way to turn it to scratch manually is to relabel? What about media that is not full and cannot be written to anymore?
Networker Management Server 7.3 Sp3
2 libraries- 1 virtual EDL and 1 scalar i2k.
The problem seems to be that certain volumes in the i2k have been filled and marked as recyclable and also expired in the "Volumes" section of the NMC, but are not actually changing their status to appendable so...
12/03/08 00:42:23 nsrd: Jukebox 'IBMcuss' failed: No such file or directory
This error above keeps appearing in the daemon.log file.
What is the best way to delete the jukebox and drives and get it to reconfigure itself?
We have replaced the chassis for some IBM drives in a tape library, updated the drivers and are able to see them from Windows device manager with the updated drive configuration.
However Networker is showing them with the old configuration.
When running jbconfig we get a message saying that...
emeafs02.global.corp.3com.com is a backup client of 3ccbackupserver but its also a storage node.
So can I just delete these client entries under host 3ccbackupserver, in the local hosts section of the NMC, and Networker will re-create them if their name/names have changed??
I was wondering if you could help me on the problem below. Logs attached to email.
The following message is appearing in the daemon.log:
