I have a helpfile saved as HTM and want it to be loaded at same time as opening the database, then just change the Visible property on IExplore when the help function chosen.
Can't seem to get the code right to activate IExplore.
Any suggesteions please ? Dave
Thanks vr, but 'nae luck' so to speak.
Blocked out that part of code and set data source direct in the document but the same thing happens.
If I open the document direct from Word then all is ok, but when trying to run it from Access always opens another version of the application.

Sorry forget this - looks as though the class module for a particular form has corrupted, hence crashing when trying to run anything or view object browser. Anyway round this ? Dave
I have the following message whenever trying to execute any commands in my Access97 DB.
It was running ok last evening, Access runs any other dbases ok but this only occurs after I open the db I am working on then try to execute a command - even try to save main switchboard form.

I am doing a mailmerge from Access97 to Word97 using routine shown in MSN.
I have tried the solution shown in FAQ where I reinstate the Microsoft Access application title, indeed have tried it on a version where app title hasn't been modified at all.
But still get Access opening up...
I have a routine set up to mailmerge a recordsetfrom Access 97 to Word 97 and works ok. What I want to do is choose one from a selection of word documents to merge with. I have the word documents set in a seperate directory.
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
