1 in UK (company.com)
1 in Miami (company-mia.com)
1 in Sydney (company-syd.com)
They are all connected via VPN tunnel and connected as 3 seperate forests through 2003 native mode.

I have 2 forests (server 2003) which which have been trusted (transitive).
uk.com <-----> spain.com
My problem is that i can ping fully qualified domain names from the uk to spain machines i.e
machine1.uk.com to machine2.spain.com
but i cannot just ping the machine names on there own...
