Never mind I used the technique suggested in the error by creating a NTFRS_CMD_FILE_MOVE_ROOT file in the root path: c:\windows\sysvol\domain That seems to have fixed it for now. Thanks anyway, again.

I keep getting this error over and over again on my PDC and only DC in this office. It is w2k3 Server. I didn't change anything, so I don't know why I am getting this. Any suggestions would be appreciatied. Thanks.

Never mind, I figured it out. Using rsopc.msc, I found there were some erroneous user rights assignments under the "Shut down the system" policy under the "default domain controllers policy" source GPO. I edited that policy in the GPO Editor and removed the extra user names. Don't know how...
