Can somebody clarify what this actually achieves when associating a label to a DNIS and NTG in config ICM. Is it a simply a logical connector and will the routing label not function 'intelligently' if it's not mapped in this way ?

I am trying to get an Avaya Definity G3r(r.10) to accept ICM variables(variable 5) so I can display the contents of the variables onto an agents turret.
Avaya have said that it will only work in a CM.x environment but wanted to check with you guys to see if you can suggest an alternative...
