JcBWF You can try running a cleaning tape three or four times. Then schedule a back up. But after so many years the tape drives reach the end of their life. Most likely the tape drive will need to be replaced or refurbished. Regards, Ken www.panwesterntelecom.com- saveendangeredoctel
