OS won't install
<grin/> Got a good one for ya..... I ripped the Op disk to my laptop.... Burned it it, and Voila, Vista installed. Ive checked the original disk, and there's no scratches etc so.. Go figure.... I was missing some system files, but went to the "Hateway" support site and found them and...- Rowdy10

OS won't install
I bought a Gateway GT5654 back in February. The hard drive crashed (making clicking noises), so I bought a new 500 gig western Digital to replace the old one. I installed the new hard drive, booted up using the disk that came with the pc. It wouldn't read the system disk. (I called gateway...- Rowdy10
