Not finding hard drive
my drive is using SATA but doesn't have to. the other drive has to use SATA. there definetly connected properly. what i'm simply trying to do is scan the hard drive with antivirus, i did a few weeks ago with another hard drive worked fine, however can't scan the harddrive if i can't see it.- nkelson

Not finding hard drive
hello, can anyone help. a friend got a very nasty virus, don't know the specifics. anyway i not have his hard drive, i connected it to my pc with a USB to SATA IDE cable, powered up, but didn't find it. put it directly into my PC, got error beeps. disconnected my hard drive and tried to just run...- nkelson
